Sonnet 2004

The way you walk,
Your style of dress,
The way you talk,
I'm so impressed.
Your smile, your style
Your mind, your eyes
Keeps me wild,
I'm mesmerized.
The expression on your face,
says everything.
Words can't replace
the melody my heart sings.
With all these qualities, it is such a shame
The love of my life, doesn't even know my name.

Every College Student

First of all, let me start by saying that I am upset with Alvin for making this suggestion. I feel that this project would be better performed with a group effort. However, since it was assigned, I must complete the assignment. If the story were to take place on our campus, I would write it where graduation would be the ultimate goal. However, Every College Student would not be able to reach graduation unless he/she remained focused. The things that he/she would have to over come in order to graduate are relationships, parties, laziness, bad work ethic, and slacking. I chose these things because these are the common elements that the majority of college students have to face when in school.

Wife of Bath

In Chauncer's tale, the Wife of Bath gives off a strong opinionated image. He lengthy prologue discusses her overview on men, marraige, and sex. Her beliefs are opposite of the norms of society. She believes women hold the power over men and should be able to manipulate them as they please. In her prologue she give a synopsis of her five marraiges which is her justification for her beliefs. In her tale, she further explains why it is important that women gain control and power over men. In my opinion, the wife is a unstable creature that is lacking love. She does not recognize the meaning of true love and has not experienced it either. She has the definition of marraige wrong, and does not understand the meaning of happiness.
